Brenda Bowen is a literary agent who specializes in children's books.
In addition, she is the author of Enchanted August (Viking). Her most recent book for adults is Goodnight Night Sweats, A Parody for the Menopausal and their Perimenopausal Friends. She's now at work on a new novel.
Under the penname Margaret McNamara, she is the award-winning author of over forty books for children.

A former editor and publisher who spent her Wonder Years in England, Brenda Bowen lives and works in New York City and spends as much of the summer as she can in Maine.
